All,
Here are some ideas on how to keep things safe. I recomment all PC users read this. Now I'm not gonna go off bagg'n on PC's I know they
can be
great computers, but Microsoft doesn't make it easy on the casual user to know this.
Here is how they can steal information.
1. Sniffers/Spyware/Keyloggers can be installed on your system by visiting the wrong websites and sometimes from emails. (Wrong Websites are not only porn sites like some of you are thinking right now, but even some of the sites we use for researching WOW and other game ideas and advice, remember just b/c the site looks professional doesn't mean its not operated by hackers! Its called a "Honey Pot" hackers lure people to these sites and servers like a legetiment business!)Once they have this on your system anything you type can be recorded into a text file and sent anywhere in the world. This includes your password information. Since you just recently changed your password online using the worldofwarcraft.com site I am assuming this is where they got that information.
How to remove this?
I recommend some seriously powerful and yes FREE software to get your system shiny and new again!
AVG AntiVirus - Free Edition -

Download HereZone Alarm - Personal Firewall -

I recommend this for easy of use and also not having 3 programs to update and check all the time. A Security Suite is a nice way to have a simple but powerful solution to online security.
Zone Alarm Security Suite -

Firefox - Download Free Here* If you're running Windows these pieces of software are essential. You must always have a Anti-Virus, Spyware/Malware, Firewall combination running so that you are safe on the web.
* Oh yeah, (
MOST IMPORTANT) and you must
UPDATE them... a lot of people have this software installed but don't ever update the virus/spyware definitions so its about as useful as a boat full of holes in rough seas... I usually set mine up to run at night while I'm sleeping and have it Auto-Update and Scan your system.

If any of us are smart enough to play and figure out WOW, we can all figure out how to update and run a security suite and software packages. Just takes about 15-20 mins to get setup, installed and familiar with it. Most packages today have "wizards" to help easy the pain of "Geekdom"...

or of-course you could just buy an Apple...

(
sorry had too, WORD™!)
