I have been noticing that we don't have the member support to have class leads at this time. So I have decided for the time being that we have the group lead. Nominations will be open for one week and one week only. If you don't want a nomination or you do you can pm me or you can post it here. Please keep in mind that the person that will hold this position will have to know where to find answers about other classes that they don't already know. They need to be knowledgeable about all classes of that job.

The forth group lead we will be looking for is our squishies,the caster dps. It is made up of mages, priest, locks. We need some one who knows there stuff.

Please nominate your caster dps lead. These will be closed on the th of July 11th and we will move to the next.

I nominate dani but i know that she may be too busy so my second choice is skylos, or skkyfoxy.

Yes mck that is what it means you may nominate yourself for group lead. I feel that you may do great at it also.

Naw, I have a feeling others will disagree. However, if anyone else wants to nominate me, I'll decide if I wanna run or not.

Would of been great if I was asked if it was cool with this desison, as perhaps I may have been planning more meetings and writing things for you guys, but thats fine, less work for me I guess. Might as well post some of it, but good to know I don't have the responsibility of doing it any more, and it's good to know a head of time that this position may be void at any time.

Eme posted something over a week ago saying we were going to group leads in this same Guild News area. Likka has been making these posts for over a week. It has been discussed in the forums for a month, not just in officer forums either so don't try to turn it around with your normal mommy and daddy were making decisions without me again bullshit. If you feel slighted I am sorry. No one pointed at you and said you suck so we are changing our whole system because of that. For the time being we feel this system will work better. Like Likka said, if you are interested, nominate yourself if you really want the position.

As for my nomination... I am with Likka. I would be very happy with any of those 3 choices.

I knew that there would be changes in terms of the forum compistion but I did not know that there was going to eliminations of actual positions. I thought that there may be an overall lead with people still leading subcomities of their own class. I don't know many people in general let alone people in our own guild who would have exenstive enough knowledge to lead every single one of those classes properly. It's certainly a lot to ask for and even though there aren't loads of people for each class, new alts pop up, people who have disappeared suddenly show up, etc. so I think my reasoning was valid, though in truth it seems I was wrong in my assumption.

As for running/nominating myself, I don't think I will. I will not attempt in charge of people who do not want me there. However, like I said, if someone wants to nominate me by all means.

On that note, I would like to say I will continue to post information that may be helpful to my fellow mages. They are welcome to help me out in the exchange of ideas, read and run, or simply ignore it and continue off doing whatever they may do. To be honest, I don't really give a damn. Just trying to help. At least for those who want it.

If you have any information that's helpful please post it, that's what the forums are for. They are not locked to our class or group leads or any one person. They're there to help everyone out and if you have the time to research info and post it, that's awesome!!

Mck... It's not necessary to have this extensive knowledge. It's only necessary to know where to go to get it.
this is how I look at it. It's great from a raid point of view, as caster dps, of all classes have very similar tactics etc, in the sense of positioning and movement. That's where the caster dps lead comes in handy.

If the caster dps lead were a mage, and someone had a question about warlocks, well shit I personally know very little about warlocks, so Dae, Dark or Nathen would be my point of call. Get it??? It's not rocket science, you truly don't need to know everything about each and every class.

Having said that, this person needs to be an ACTIVE raider. Of which I'm not so sadly I can't do it. I nominate Daedraug.
