SDS History
The Seven Deady Sins was founded March 8, 2006 by Mysticshadow, Thorlow and brother Tijaska, Siraphyn, Bazroth, and Monis. Eiye joined soon after and together everyone worked towards creating a guild where guild members were treated like family, and the whole family loved playing 'Craft.
With one home grown ventrilo server and no website, SDS began a steady progression of completing dungeon sets, stocking the guild bank, refining characters, and recruiting others that shared their vision. Two months after the founding, SDS began hosting their own runs through Molten Core with the help of Liquid Courage, Sovereign Alliance, Eighth Sin, and many other friends of the guild wanting to see SDS successful.
The guild grew after each run due to the hysterical jokes, witty banter, and awesome runs through end-game content. By November 2006, SDS had over 80 members, hosted two ventrilo servers and its own website, thanks to Siraphyn and his graphics design savvy. Also, the guild was consistently running ZG, AQ20, MC, Onyxia, and starting BWL. Characters became players, players dissolved into people and finally the people became life long friends.
In January, 2007, GM Mysticshadow and Co-GM Siraphyn had a new vision. Conquering battlefields and sharing the SDS philosophy on a new realm. So, the GM's and several other member set off to Blade's Edge to establish The Seven Deadly Sins. Not wanting the SDS spirit to die on Cenarius, Eiye and Zinnayvre agreed to take up the reigns as Guildmasters. With a little restructuring of government Neumas agreed to be a third GM and in true SDS fashion, Borwyn, Stryer, Emeldnof, Lionkniight, Devilsnight, and Daedraug stepped up to be officers, solidfying SDS's position on Cenarius.
Throughout SDS's journey we've been tried and tested. We've seen the heights of Mt. Hyjal and swam the depths of Black Rock. We've laughed together, shared in the joys of new arrivals, we've fussed, and argued, and at times shed tears. But know this, we are here and we are strong and...
